The Nazi casting couch told in Czech
2 June 2021
I highly recommend this film. It is the life story of Lída Baarová, a 1930s Czech actress who became a minor star in Germany and had an affair with psycho Nazi Joseph Goebbels.

Like most biographies, it has a lot of inaccuracies and a messed up timeline but most importantly it has good camp value. First the love scene is so bad you will laugh out loud, the cat fight scene with Goebbel's wife (I doubt that ever happened) and the scene with Goebbels crying like a baby after Hitler yelled at him.

Beautiful costumes, locales and photography and most importantly, unintentional laughs.
