I did think the second episode was ponderous. Too much talking between Loki and Morbius.
I get it, Loki cannot be trusted and has his own agenda. He is just along with the TVA for the ride. His goal of overthrowing the Time Keepers is pretty evident.
Then again this might not be too bad a thing. The TVA are blooming incompetent.
At every throw of the dice, someone like Loki or his Variant gets the better of them. Like a cat toying with an injured mouse.
The second half ramped up with a reveal of the Variant. I did think the special effects looked cheap.
It is simmering but after two episodes, this is not yet thunderous.
