Disturbed youth ... we've all been there ... well probably not to that level or extend as the 4 main characters are in this movie. Very interesting in their own rights and even more ... interesting when put together as a group. Of course you know that not all will go smoothly ... that doesn't even happen when you have "normal" people trying to figure things out.
So yes this is quite intriguing and really well told. Overall the acting is also good - there is one exception in my eyes and I really hate to even bring this up. Maybe it is just me, but I cannot feel much emotion coming from one of the female leads. The uninspiring way she talks and says things ... it has worked for other movies, but in this one, it just feels wrong in so many ways. Add to that her cliche parents who can't see anything (or understand for that matter) ... and it almost drags the entire movie down.
Again my 5 cents and it doesn't take away from the overall impact of the story. Which is prove that it is more than worth telling ... just would have been better in my humble opinion with a different casting choice.
