Gangster Billy Meadows travels to London with his daughter. Arthur has set up 'Daley Catering' and has Henri, a french chef, working for him. D. S. Morley and D. C. Park discuss Billy Meadows arriving in London. Arthur hires out Ray as a bouncer at his friend Arnie's pub. Arthur offers to cater a function Arnie has booked at his pub that evening. He bumps into Vinny Meadows as he leaves Arnie's pub. Then Billy Meadows arrives to meet his estranged brother. When Arthur exits the pub Morley and Park, on stakeout, see him. Billy tells Vinny he is looking for someone in London and shows him a picture of Henri. Later, an informant of Vinny's tells Billy that Henri is working for Arthur.
In the Winchester Morley and Park question Arthur, assuming he has knowledge of the Meadows brothers meeting. Arthur claims innocence. Billy arrives at the Daley Catering office just after Henri has left. Henri and Mandy, another employee of Arthur's, whom Henri is dating, set up for the evenings function and Henri tells Mandy he wants to take her to France to meet his family.
Henri returns to the Daley Catering office and sees the door ajar. Inside, Billy is waiting for him.
Once outside, Henri manages to escape. Billy demands his men bring Arthur to him. One of Vinny's men was watching Henri's escape from a car. He reports to Vinny, who tells his men he wants Henri found first. Arthur and Ray arrive at Arnie's pub to find Mandy sitting alone in the function room with no food and Henri missing. Arthur takes Mandy to make sandwiches for a buffet. Vinny's informant spots Henri. Whilst Arthur and Mandy are in the kitchen, Ray insists Arthur look in the function room and they discover it is a police function. Even Morley attends. Henri is caught by Vinny.
Billy's attempts to find Arthur have failed. Arthur is unaware they are looking for him. Morley sees Arthur at the function and is baffled why Arthur was hired to cater. Billy's men arrive at Arnie's pub asking for Arthur. They head to the function room just as Arthur steps outside for a cigar. Arthur is taken. Morley and Ray notice Arthur's absence. Vinny questions Henri about why Billy wants him but Henri claims he has no idea. Arthur is taken to meet Billy. They show Arthur a picture of Henri but Arthur claims to have never seen him before. They threaten Arthur, who quickly relents and states Henri just disappeared, and he has no contact details. Ray tries to contact Arthur but has no luck. Vinny interrupts Billy and Arthur and tells Billy he has Henri and smugly tells Vinny that if he says 'please' then he can have Henri. Billy angrily tells Vinny that Henri got his daughter pregnant and says 'please.' Vinny tells him that Henri is in a car downstairs, raising a slight smile from Billy's daughter. Billy and his daughter get into the car with a defeated Henri and drive away. Ray arrives as they leave.
At the Winchester, Arthur tells Dave and Ray that Henri will have to marry Billy's daughter.
Morley and Park arrive to tell Arthur the chief superintendent has been rushed to the hospital with suspected food poisoning after the function. Mandy and Ray go off on a date.
