Review of Subnautica: Below Zero

I think the game was pretty good and was an overall good experience but misses on something the original got so well, the fear factor! The original always kept you on your toes and had you fearful when exploring uncharted territory but in below zero I never really was afraid or didn't wanna go somewhere like with the aurora or the dunes. Also in the original the sense of urgency was very apparent with the bacteria and needing to get off the planet but in this game it's just not there, the closest thing to that is building Al-An's body and I even felt no sense of urgency in that. I don't know but I think the early access story could've had a better impact than the one unknown worlds went with but like I said solid experience and the ending is phenomenal definitely worth a try for a fan of the original.
