I love watching the reruns of this old reality show. Considering that the sellers are desperate to get their house sold, I think things get done promptly with few dollars invested. Roger Hazard is honest about the flaws of the house & stages & paints the house in record time. Tanya is gorgeous, of course, & plays up the "notion" that Roger is lazy. It's just part of the focus of the show & offers comic relief for the time crunch of getting the house ready in record time. I find it hard to believe that some home owners don't even pick up clutter & dirt clothes to get ready for a showing. Like dirty dishes in the sink when potential buyers walk through? Who is that stupid? Has to be staged. Some of Roger's changes are a little odd, but viewers don't have to like everything he does. I find this show entertaining. It's not meant to be tutorial for every home selling situation.
