It seems like there are a lot of charitable Leverage fan boys out there because this absolutely does not deserve anything above a 7/10. I'm a huge fan as well but I'm intellectually honest with myself and this episode is just not THAT good. And I padded my rating a lot just out of nostalgia.
As a general statement, the original series was somewhat campy and silly but they still managed to put in enough thought to make most episodes relatively believable. Redemption is just too far out there and this episode has plenty of insanity, just like the previous ones. It's like you're watching a children's cartoon, with a constant barrage of CRAZY designed to keep a child's attention. Bummer.
