Warning: Spoilers
Carl Weathers is Billy "Hurricane" Smith. He earned his nickname after he rescued his sister from a vile cyclone years prior the events of the film's story. Billy is a construction worker in Texas. He receives the news that his mother had died and theres paperwork that needs to be filled out involving her will but he must first find his missing sister. He had gotten a postal letter from her coming from Gold Coast of Australia and Billy travels over there to find her.

Billy had an unpleasant welcome in Australia being called a "septic" even from a snotty taxi driver. At the immigration office, Billy learns that there are no records of his sister ever entering nor leaving Australia which means she's reliable for criminal prosecution for being an illegal alien but Billy doesnt stop there. He then meets his sister's friend Julie (Cassandra Delaney) who works as a prostitute. Billy discovers that his sister was murdered and was mixed up in a drug-smuggling and prostitution ring run by Charlie Dowd (Jurgen Prochnow), a mean, arrogant, disgusting, pimp mobster who treats women like crap that it'll make you hate him. Billy meets Charlie and its war!

This movie is so early 90s. Carl Weathers did a good job as the hero and in this movie was the first time I saw him without his mustache which I found weird but Im use to it. I felt sorry for his character he lost his mother and then he discovers that his sister was killed by evil people. Weathers deserved better, he should've been on top of the action hero agenda like Schwarzenegger and Stallone. Jurgen Prochnow, as always, good as the bad guy. The action scenes starts in the last 30 minutes of the film it went from boat chase, big gun fighting and finally, Billy rescuing Julie from Charlie in a helicopter. Gold Coast Australia is beautiful, beach, sunset and the women it looks like Miami. I like the saxophone music composed by Brian May.

If you liked Action Jackson, you might like this one, you might not, its ok either way but its one of my childhood favorite actioners that I grew up watching alot on VHS.
