An unworthy end to the series

There is only one thing that I like about this episode. Dee Hartford. She's wealthy, spoiled, and trapped in a loveless marriage. I know that I wasn't supposed to like this character, but I have a thing for Dee Hartford! I didn't like any character here, except for Hartford's. The two kids, whom you're obviously supposed to view as victims, are simply annoying. I didn't care how they were affected by their parents' constant bickering. Whether they found their way to the "paradise" or just drowned, who really cared? Another point. Why did the kids have Southern accents when their parents did not? I recently read that June Foray dubbed the voice of Sport (Mary Badham). Why? The voice was irritating, and out of sync with her parents' way of speaking. Overall, this episode took the wrong direction. I would rather the focus had been more on the Dee Hartford character and her stupid husband. I wasn't interested in the "fantasy world" or the old woman who resembled a witch.. My rating would have been lower, if not for Dee Hartford. She was nicer as Verda on Lost in Space, but I could love her in any role!
