Direct Hit (1994 Video)
8/10
Underrated early 90's action

Warning: Spoilers
I love William Forsythe. His performances in supporting roles and villains often steal the show from the leading character. Direct Hit is a rare chance for Forsythe to carry the picture in a leading heroic role. In my opinion, he kills it here as antihero John Hatch. Hatch is a top hit man and weapons expert for the CIA. He refuses his last hatchet job and sides with the target and protects her from the "replacement killers". Direct Hit might not be the best action film of all time, but William Forsythe is great in this and convincing as this cold and violent man seeking redemption. Direct Hit might have a small budget, but is no way lacking in action. George Segal and Richard Norton appear as opposition to Hatch. I really enjoy Direct Hit and have been a fan since I saw it in the 90's on cable.
