Cop on duty, family in trouble
12 August 2021
It is common for the police officer on duty in the police control room to receive calls about crime, disturbances etc normally from total strangers. But what happens when the desperate complaints come from his own family members who are in deep trouble ?

The writer of this movie has produced an interesting script based on such a situation. Director Rensil D'Silva develops this script into an "edge of the seat" suspense filled thriller keeping the audience hooked during the entire run. The film with cascading events is fast paced no doubt. Inspector Nikhil Sood ( Manoj Bajpayee) on duty in police control room has his peaceful domestic world turned upside down as soon as he receives a call from a desperate lady (Neena Gupta) who has a previous grudge and now has cruel intentions this night. Unpredictable developments unravel at a rapid rate as Manoj faces one tricky situation after another and also finds that his wife Sakshi Tanwar is getting suckled into this murky game of one upman ship. It is a case of desperate situations calling for desperate measures. All this happens during a single night on the streets and in the suburbs of Mumbai. There are many tense moments.

Manoj Bajpayee has excelled himself as the harassed police officer who has to tackle events which have spiralled out of control. Neena Gupta has also performed well. Sakshi Tanwar as the hapless wife torn between husband and son gives an impressive performance.
