A man of some means last a daughter some time in the past. He is filled with guilt because she was on an errand for him when she disappeared. Unfortunately, he has engaged the services of a disreputable Private Investigator, who is taking him to the cleaners. Andy has been there for the guy from the start and smells a rat. At this time a young black child is gunned down on the street. His father is also guilt ridden and vows to get the guys who did this. They have a suspect but he manages to escape the precinct.
