This isn't so much a review as it is a comment. For some reason, I missed this when it came out. Not quite sure how, as I'm nearly 50 and have a film & cinema freak since I was a kid. So...having never seen this, and finally cueing it up in 2021, it still holds up! Don't get me wrong here...it's obviously dated with respect to some of the special fx, as well as the details in production, but the story, acting, and theme fully hold up. AND...these vampires don't sparkle when the sun hits them. Plus...come on...LANCE FREAKIN HENRIKSEN!!!
