I understand why this movie is disappointing for many people. It's a mediocre movie to begin with and it doesn't deliver what most people expect from it.
This movie is not about "Boudica: The Warrior Queen", but about "Boudica: ***RISE*** of the Warrior Queen".
This movie is not about a powerful woman with an oversized sword living up to the feminist ideals. It's more about a teenage girl who grudgingly obeys her mother most of the time and would loose every fight if any of the warriors took her seriosly. Which makes sense since her combat training is hitting a tree about three times with a stick.
This movie is also not about epic battles - It contains a few somewhat unrealistic fight scenes, but it's more about drama, relationships, lies and people with bad soft skills and attitude killing eachother.
Also the timelines in the movie might be confusing for some.
