The Vacant Chair
1 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The first episode of The Human Jungle and it brings psychiatry to the boardroom.

This was not unheard of in America where psychometric testing was already taking place for executive vacancies.

Dr Corder has a week to assess two contrasting candidates Phillips and Hunter to be the next managing director of a large British conglomerate. A company that is in trouble.

Philips is a bit of a tyrant who believes in getting results. Hunter likes to work with people to achieve results through cooperation.

It was an interesting idea to see Corder in the business world. His final decision might be controversial but at least he provided the context. The company needed a firefighter.
