This was borderline unwatchable. No cohesive narrative, flat characters, and a complete lack of jokes. Frankly, Mike O'Brien should be embarrassed. Glenn Howerton is completely underutilized and his character is lame in every sense of the word. It didn't help that O'Brien completely dropped the show's premise after the first season.
The jokes in this episode are pretty much as follows: 1) "Haha, the teachers and faculty members are weird" 2) "Haha, the students are nerds" 3) "Haha, imagine if Jack and Durbin were gay."
If you're reading this Mike O'Brien, just know that you created one of the most bland and unfunny shows on television. It is the complete opposite of Community. It's also clear that you are not at all interested in continuing this show, so please stop.
