There's a great scene in the first episode where Jim gets stuck in a conversation with Roy, and they run out of things to talk about. And we've all been in that situation; it's awkward. You don't really want to talk to that person but it's rude to walk away, so you're coerced into staying. But in this episode, Jim runs away from Robert California to avoid a conversation. He tries to drive awat, but he's not allowed, so then he climbs onto the roof. And you know, it's amusing, but it's not relatable because I've never climbed onto a roof to avoid a conversation with my boss. It's not relatable anymore and what's funny in that?
