I know this is seen as a masterpiece, but I don't understand the appeal of this movie. It has a nice story with interesting philosophical ideas, but I feel that the movie can be cut a lot. The same concept could be shown in 40 - 60 mins instead of a 90 minute movie. It feels to drawn out for the amount of substance it has, which bores me. Maybe this was the peak of cinema at the time, but it doesn't hold up by today's standards.
