Disjointed
29 September 2021
Disjointed storyline made it difficult to follow then there was the animation which was weirdly robotic with a mix of 2D & 3D as if pasted over the actors. Additionally the DVD lacked subtitles for the elderly, disabled, hearing impaired, and ESL viewers. Disrespectful & cheap on the part of the producers especially when audio & enunciation is poor.

Storyline: In 1899 off the coast of southwest England a small 3 masted sailing ship lost its tug tow during a storm. The 30' lifeboat, Louisa, was to go out to rescue the 13+ crew if needed, but the surf made launching difficult so they put together a horse drawn trailer to take it a few miles to a safer portage. That journey required constant work. Finally able to launch they stood by as two other tugs came to the ships rescue.

Would have been more interesting if they had used actors. Just need a location, a lifeboat, some horses & a few part time actors.
