Warning: Spoilers
The end of the first short season has romance in the air for T J Hooker.

He ends up charming pretty Alison Baker (Lisa Hartman) who witnessed as murder by unhinged robber Danny Scott (Jonathan Banks.) He is just too trigger happy for his own good.

However Baker is reluctant to testify as she was with her boss who is also married. By the time Hooker schmoozes her, she thinks her boss is a jerk.

It is another laughably dumb episode. Hooker nearly gets Baker killed even though he promised to protect her.

Baker's justification as to why it's better to go out with married men than single one is hilariously dumb. Scott decides to kill someone he dislikes but leaves him badly injured and alive. So the injured victim spills the beans to Hooker.

Finally Hooker once again preaches how the justice system is fixed against the victims and the police.

Banks relished playing baddies in the 80s. Hartman is easy on the eye but I never realised just how bad this series was.
