The problem is in looking at this movie as a time travel. Oh no. The premise of the story was great. Imagine your 17 year old self reminding you on how you planned your life only for to realise one had lost vision, self, everything. And realise that was an adult you are responsible for who you become.

The character grew from uni dimensional to many shades. The irritating bit was the younger self. Screechy and in your face.
