My word what horrible protagonists in this story. In any other hallmark they would have been the reason for the lead moving back to their home town. Both have committed relationships and cheat on their partners constantly..because no-one can be that nieve . I was actually feeling sorry for the side charaters. And Joe was prob the most brain dead mam ever.. staying around in the farm after what she did to him.
It's as if the writer couldn't wrote bad partners but also had a one track mind on how the romance was going to flourish.. so just brushed them aside.
You are ment to go along with the leads and root for them to succeed. But all that happened was they came across as selfish...cheating and not very likeable.
I watch hallmark films and can overlook the flaws but this one had such unlikeable charaters. I kinda hope they have a sequal where the partners go and have their own hallmark movie.
