Hipsters Take Over Belle Epoque Paris
3 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This strange but charming movie features a rag-tag set of characters whose lives intersect through their discovery and protection of a flea-monster who begins an unexpectedly successful career as a cabaret performer. Also, they save the city from the recent flooding and a self-important mayoral candidate who wants to destroy the monster as a PR trick.

The film is good-natured and light-hearted, perfect for kids. Although the voice acting and mannerisms of the characters suggest hipsters, it takes place in an authentically re-created Paris of the early 20th century, not Greenpoint. The sound track is also high quality. It has a well-earned place right between Leap! And A Cat in Paris in our blu-ray storage.
