Sure we all miss Jack. But Desi more than made up for it. At first she can come off as cold. But then later she warms up to the team and to the being part of the family.
As she is the team's handler and plays tricks of Mac and his friends. As they need to guard an ATF dog that has a bounty on it's head on it. Desi really kicks as* there.
