This is the 21st movie I have reviewed for IMDb, and the only one I have given 10 stars to (so far), so I consider myself a reasonably critical reviewer, but this is, quite simply, the best Science Fiction movie I have ever seen. The science is reasonably accurate and believable; the story, character development and acting is fine; there are some tense, exciting scenes; and the "politics" of the various possible courses of action is interesting. The visuals are excellent too, as should be expected from a Ridley Scott movie. See it! The book is worth a read too.
