Overwatch (2016 Video Game)
5/10
Decent but spoiled by smurfs and unbalanced heroes

Warning: Spoilers
Generally, the game is fun to play. However, there are aspects of the game that make it not worth while playing.

Smurfs. Smurfs are players who create new accounts to be placed against lower oppositions. This creates a very poor game experience when you are for example a gold player, being put up against a grand master (on their alt account). Unfortunately, Blizzard cannot do anything about this.

Hero balances. Blizzard trial different hero balances, but they fail to target the actual heroes that need a change. Hanzo for example. Can one hit most heroes by pure luck. The power that is created when charging his arrows need to be reduced, otherwise you will find yourself being killed everytime you step out of a doorway. His damage needs to be reduced, yet blizzard deside to nerf alternative heroes who are already pretty balanced.

Another hero being doomfist. For a hero that does not have the ability to fly in the air like Pharah, he most likely has more air time then Pharah herself. Doomfists damage is too high, so you will find yourself being killed in one hit, and even if you dont die, by the time you try and strike, his overpowered mobility will allow him to be on the otherside of the battle in a second.

The game however, is fun to play in a group of friends. When working together, you can pull off some amazing plays and combos. The skins they put in the game for the heroes are a very nice touch, and allow for a more fun hero experience. Best thing to do is to play to counter the opposition. If you refuse to counter, then you will struggle to win. That is the fun of it. You win some, you lose some, but there is a massive hype to pulling off mulit kills.

Overall... 2 years ago, I would have given this game an easy 9... but unfortunately, the developers appear to have fallen out of love for the game, and only care about the profits they make and the Overwatch League. It's a shame, the game had so much potential leading into Overwatch 2.

However, I would recommend for those who are looking for a mulitplayer game to play with friends and enjoy working together to win.
