The girls, Beverly Ann and Andy go to Australia.
They got it better with this movie than they did with the first one. This time there is an actual plot with Jo and Blair. Nat going off with the outback hunk was ok. Tootie and Mario Van Peebles were boring as were Andy and Beverly Ann off visiting a sheep farm and Bev's old flame. So they still messed it up by having everyone separate (except for Jo & Blair). I think it still should have been one plot, even if they separated everyone, where their separate stories converged, ala: Stranger Things style. Where each group is following the same thing and everything eventually collides. They sort of had it a little bit since Natalie unknowingly had the black opal.
Jo and Blair on an adventure together was probably the best part. They were funny with lots of funny scenes and interactions. I had to laugh when the gang first arrived and Jo is carrying ALL of Blair's luggage too. Typical. Lol. Loved the shot of Blair's shoe by the stairs to the opera house.
I love that Natalie used the boomerang to take out the bad guy. I knew it as soon as she started practicing with that thing, that she was going to do that. Lol.
The plot is light despite a jewelry heist/thief story. The thief, which Jo and Blair couldn't figure out who-was-who between the two Aussies, was actually charming. Both Aussies were.
Extremely lighthearted, boring at other times(Tootie, Beverly Ann, & Andy). But also fun too(Jo, Blair, & Nat). I think people that want to see Jo & Blair hang together will really like this one. 6/10.
