I never knew what Regicide was.

June and Nick attend a suspicious death, an elderly man has passed away in suspicious circumstances, but someone has tried to help him out by ringing for an ambulance.

It's a thoughtful, well imagine episode, it's a plot Agatha Christie would have enjoyed, it does remind me a little of Four and twenty Blackbirds.

Colin Buchanan makes his final of four appearances on the show here as Martin, it must have been around this time that he landed his big break in The BBC series Dalziel and Pascoe.

I did like the character of Gary, he was auite funny, he's a right little scrote, but is he a career criminal, or a lad trying to turn his life around?

Nick is still being portrayed as being a little wet and naive, he's been here way too long for them to keep playing this card.

Regicide, I'm sure many thought about that back in the day.

Very good, 8/10.
