Unfortunately the good this show does have is ruined with exaggerated political ideology. I actually like all of the main characters of the family. The story is decent and demonstrates every family is unique. The grandfather is the type of grandfather I would want. Loving and wise. They nailed it with this character. Unfortunately for me though so much of the show is built around political ideology that it's kind of a turn off. They should have taken a cue from Kim's Convenience. It's an excellent show about an immigrant family that is hilarious but doesn't shove any politics down your throat.
