NCIS has always been an excellent series. But, with the departure of several of the characters, including Mark Harmon following the worst of the still on-going Covid pandemic, it looked like NCIS was going to have a rough go of it. However, there have been several excellent episodes this season, with "Collective Memory" being one of the best (IMHO).
The hologram aspect (first introduced by the Startrek series) was beautifully done. The highlight, actually. The ending was very emotional, and brought a "lump" to the throat. Good job writers.
