Noir farce. Very nineties feel, with the smeary, blurry look of old grindhouse film. Absurdist humor. Funny and fun, until the end. All of sudden, the girl who a moment before was desperately snatching bills from a fire, smiles knowingly. The ship blows up; but somehow, she wasn't on it. "Genius," says John, while she clinks champagne with some woman, (the one shot by the cops?) on a speedboat. But who says it had to make sense? It's funny, right?
