Story: The Story is pretty basic. Punch and kick and protect batman because he's a vulnerable sidekick in training. They made Darkseid pretty cool no doubt.
Production: The animation and voice work is fine. I'm not sure why they go for that anime look. It looks lazy and ugly in my opinion. The best anime left us in the 90s early 00s. Anime today is ugly.
