Overrated in all these reviews because of the star casting mesmerizing people - sure the acting is competent but it doesn't even have a basic grounding to make it an acceptable story. Why is one woman with a mop wig in a remote area of BC cloning random people ? The cost must be enormous and none of the principles are poor but they aren't sublimely rich. Conveniently her lab is without furniture or any of the machines and vials of biological what not to make it happen. It makes no sense. What does she get out of it ? How does she afford her house never mind cloning she cannot even get a decent haircut. The film falls into sorrow and sad a bit too often making it negative and the dreary grey BC weather in winter surely reinforces that. There's no uplifting message here. All you ask in nearly two hours of slow cooking is when will it click ? But that moment never comes. So there is no message here.
