After a 'holding pattern' episode this episode came back with a vengeance. Clarke Johnson, who appeared in 'The Wire' and directed several episodes, including the finale, directs this one. The result is the best episode of the series, thus far.
The writing (Taylor Sheridan) is about as adult as it gets, with no lazy, implausible coincidences used as writer's crutches.
Incredibly strong performance from Jeremy Renner and a particularly good one from Emma Laird. As an extra bonus-no Dianne Wiest (love the actress, despise the character).
