In a world where ghouls exist who feast on human flesh but appear human in all aspects but this, an ordinary lad goes on a date with an attractive girl. The outcome is not what either had in mind as the girl is in fact a ghoul and attacks him. Enjoyable first series with interesting character development which I feel the later series's lacked. You may also need to have read the manga it was based on or Google what happened between series as it does seem to jump forward without explanation.
