This wasn't a bad movie, it's just the same movie you've already seen 30 times before. Here are only a few of the same old worn out scenes:
1. Family goes to see a new house, the child makes a comment about someone living in the closet and is ignored.
2. Supernatural stuff happens, complete with jump scares you'll see coming from a mile away.
3. Wife and child are left alone in the house but husband refuses to believe what they say is happening.
4. Wife looks up house's history online but doesn't share that knowledge with husband.
5. Wife tracks down former owner who explains that his wife experienced the exact same things.
6. Husband is shocked to find that wife was telling the truth all along.
7. Tension-filled fight with entity.
8. Everyone is still alive. They embrace while crying. The end. Yawn.
