Review of Not of This World

Not bad made-for-American TV sci-fi film. A meteor shower brings a slug-like lifeform that feeds on all forms of electricity, even from animal life. Including humans. After some mysterious deaths, the sheriff and the folks who run the new power plant realize what they're up against. Now they have to use the power plant to try to fry the ever-growing monster. Typical for its time cable movie. Not a masterpiece, but it is reminiscent of late 50's sci-fi monster movies. I finally found an English-language DVD-R of not great but viewable quality. Entertaining and recommended.
