Being a fan of Fantasy Island I was keen to catch My Dinner with Herve as the in-flight movie. What I found more entertaining were the James Bond and Fantasy Island reconstructions and the background to Herve's involvement. Quite sad was the realization that Herve let his parents down with the Bond appearance.
Jamie Dornan is reasonable in the role as the journalist but I would have preferred Danny Dyer to be cast to add a sharp edge.
