Teach Your Children Well
13 January 2022
First off if you don't like good music this is not a film for you. This is a film about a little thing called Rock and Roll. This film is great for children and grownups. When I first saw it, I was a kid and always wanted a substitute like Jack Black's character. Rock and Roll has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My first memory was going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when I was three.

So, when this film came out it quickly became one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time and still is. I never realized that I would grow up and work with some Rock Legends at my parttime job as a stagehand. The film does a great job of showing that all parts of the music industry is important "Just because you're not in the band doesn't mean you're not in the band." When Jack Black's character first arrives at the school the children are deprived of Rock and Roll, and he must teach them. In a way he is like a superhero except his power is teaching. It's a power we can all have and if we have children of our own, we can teach them about music and then Rock and Roll will never die.
