A Real Tony Finelli Says...
23 January 2022
The Finelli's Movie is everything I've always wanted to see in a comedy musical, but never have, until I saw this gem. I'm certain if this feature was played in a theater packed full of an unsuspecting American audience, I wouldn't be able to hear a damn thing, during the short-lived non-comedic riffs, because the chuckles and bursts of spontaneous laughter would drown out the sound coming from the screen., similar to my experience watching the Naked Gun and South Park: The Musical in the theaters back in the day.

While Mark's multi-talent is uncompromising and obvious from the first scene, I must give a tip of the hat to Timo's filthy mouth and Tony's enabler-in-chief, similar to Jeff Garlin's role to Larry David on "Curb," but much dirtier. And I love it. There's never been a stand-alone feature film like this, and there never will be again. With the exception of parts 2 and 3 in a trilogy of Finelli escapades I can only hope Mark creates for us all to enjoy. Please, America, catch up with The Finelli's. It's time we start appreciating something totally unique to a Western Europe audience. Just admit it. They're much more sophisticated than us knuckle-draggers anyway. The Finelli's Movie is proof of this. Grade A.
