Chapter 5 is the best episode of Boba Fett so far, and that is mainly because of ... you guessed it by the title, the Mandalorian. Din makes his return in glorious fashion by taking out some pig looking dudes. Seeing him use the Darksaber was one of the best things I've seen from Star Wars. Seeing this guy made me miss the Mandalorian TV show more than ever, and just by him appearing in this show, is proof that this guy is going to become more legendary than even Boba himself.
This episode is riddled with previous Star Wars content. Back to Tatooine, seeing the same place young Anakin raced through in Ep1 was goosepump good. And getting to see a BD droid in live action! We have only seen those in Jedi Fallen Order, and with that showing up, surely that means we will get Cal in a future project? We can hope.
Directed by Bryce Howard, you can tell she has picked up her father's skill at directing, because she does a brilliant job at this episode.
We also got to see new aliens, and a stunning new location that reminded me of the Citadel from Mass Effect. I hope we get to visit this place again - which I think is highly likely, since it houses some major minor characters.
Chapter 5 - The Return of the Mandalorian, is a brilliant episode, filled with ear to ear smiling, stunning visuals, cameos, directing and of course, the return of Din, and judging by the final words of this episode, we are going to see Grogu next episode, and maybe even Luke again! Ahhh!
Sorry, couldn't hide my excitement. This is what I was looking for coming into the Book of Boba Fett, and I'm glad they decided to put this episode in. This will surely keep the people who aren't overly fond of this series so far, interested.
