8/10
Solid excursion from the main plot

Warning: Spoilers
The Mandalorian returns to Tatooine.

This is welcome detour from the slow burning plot of Boba Fett and sets up the next chapter of the Mandalorian's story.

There are quite a few exposition dumps that expand the backstory of certain characters and do some solid world building in the Star Wars universe.

It is great to see Din Djarin again, and in action, but as a stand-alone episode for me it is a mixed bag. It starts well, but as the technobabble and exposition increases during the ship building scenes I found that it loses a bit of momentum. However, It picks up towards the end as the writers start to have fun with the character on board his new ship.

The fan service is excellent and viewers who enjoy in-depth details of the galaxy far, far away, plus the familiar sights and sounds of the franchise should have a ball.

I love the design of the space city and it provides a good mix of locations for this show that has been so dominated by Tatooine. One scene that follows Djarin around a variety of different areas on this location is very slickly done.

For me it's a 7.5/10 but I round upwards.
