I should have known this would be a pile of crap when one of the simple minded girls asked Taylor how she and Emma (the one Black girl in a group of white girls) could be cousins, even though Taylor had already explained that their moms were sisters. Has she really never heard of interracial relationships, or even adoption for that matter? There are plenty of families where everyone doesn't look the same. Then when Taylor explained that Emma's dad was a musical prodigy, the simple minded girl says "Is he the Black one?" This movie came out in 2019. There was absolutely no excuse for a teenage character to be this ignorant and clueless. It just devolves into more idiocy from there.
