I like the series a lot. I don't care what others said about it. Some people complain that the modern series is bad (especially the arcs) I thought it was a good way to see other way to add new things to the mix and a god way to see characters grow. I liked the series new arcs since it adds things that a single episode can't do. I also like the new characters, I enjoyed the humor, and the series is enjoyable. And even if you don't like the arcs, the funny episodes still is good and funny. I think that people just don't like change, but I generally thinks that it could be good.
I do want to see older characters like X and FM to come back. Along with that I think that the stories balanced comedy and story together. Smg4 is growing, and I personally enjoy these changes with new characters and even more stories. I just think that people just don't like the change and I can respect that, but I am getting tired of people saying "Modern Smg4 sucks." when it really doesn't. I enjoy these newer and fresh stories. In my opinion, if you just focus on comedy, your gonna lose that touch on rewatch. But with stories like the anime and youtube arc, I think that it will be rewatchable and fun to watch at the same time while also giving us growth.
