No idea who to trust
4 February 2022
This episode was a bit more average than the supersized premiere, but that's usually to be expected and it was still enjoyable. Still have no idea where this is going or who to trust but that's part of the fun. Some parts of the plot borrow strongly from The Mummy, so it's funny Oded Fehr is in both (or maybe that is on purpose). I'd only ever seen Katia Winter in Sleepy Hollow, which her character destroyed, so it's nice to find out that was just Katrina and not her personally in everything. And to see her without that horrible wig and corset.

The priest is a bit over the top. I couldn't figure out why a guy with a Brooklyn accent was wearing a Boston Red Sox jacket, then I see the actor, Mark Gagliardi, is actually from Tennessee. Then his name rang a bell and make me think of The Bucatino Business, which made me think of The Thrilling Adventure Hour, which he is from. Suddenly, his performance style makes more sense. Also I figure the person who will ultimately betray the main characters is the one you would least expect - so I'm guessing it's him.

Still waiting for James Callis to show up again and his part to be revealed. Since he's usually evil in everything else, that is what I'm expecting here.
