I undestood the plot of "Sanctuary" but also thought it was very weak and not particularly interesting. I noticed other reviewers liked it a bit more than I did but still, their enjoyment of the episode wasn't great. All in all, it's one that is pretty skippable.
The story finds two Type-A people suddenly in a quiet mansion, cut off from the outside world. However, because their lives have been so chaotic and power-driven, the pair soon learn to let go and love each other's company...A LOT! However, when another stanger arrives, it's obvious she's sort of like the serpent in the Garden of Eden and she's willing to return them to their previous lives.
Dull and uninteresting...with episodes like this, you can see why this reboot only lasted a season. Not terrible...but also not good and pretty obvious in its message.
