The Pen is about Elaine going with Jerry to Florida to visit his parents and attend a dinner in honour of his father.
A golden episode, hilarious throughout. Which is odd considering it's void of George and Kramer, the only such episode. It's true to life and funny because of it. Old people don't put on air conditioners in the heat and get cold when it isn't, they have no awareness of their surroundings and always have the television or radio turned up to a million and can't hear a thing. Jerry's standup could be better, that's about the only negative.
