My toddler and I adore the original We Bare Bears. I didn't have very high hopes for this one and rightly so. I knew I wouldn't like it as much but was hoping it would be a good one for my toddler. I'm becoming more mindful of what he watches and this one has some stuff that I am uncomfortable with him intaking. In the first episode the bears ruin the lives of some fairies and totally get away with it. In another episode Grizz gets possessed and it's super not friendly for a young audience. And in yet another episode, Ice Bear has a line that my husband instantly pointed out was a play on a sex joke. Like what?? I completely expected this to be geared at a younger audience but already it feels less kid friendly than the original. Granted, there are a few episodes of the original we skip, but I don't think we will continue watching this one at all unfortunately.
