If we're going to compare this episode to Clive Barkers writing or any of his other movie adaptations (Hellraiser, Lord of Illusions, Night Breed etc) then this episode pales in comparison. But in the context of this show, it's actually one of the stronger episodes. The Christmas theme is nice and while not as good as Seasons Greetings it's still a strong holiday episode.
