Bad writing or setting up something Good?
1 March 2022
I'm not sure why most of the characters are written to be so unlikeable. Just nonsense decisions, or maybe they just seem like nonsense right now? Mohammad was seeming like the Daryl of the show until he meets the young girl in this episode. Red Flags galore here: -She has no fear of a stranger showing up -She offers him berries and nuts that he immediately eats -She has no weapons at all, despite being alone, and runs right out in front of two adult vampires instead of hiding.

Meanwhile the Doc tells Axel that the bodies in the broken freezer may have died from a disease and they need to get rid of the bodies because the virus could be airborne... so he just goes and puts them on a cart with zero protective gear? Also the Doc is behaving like a different person since getting to the base, snapping and lashing out.

Lastly, you'd think the Sealed Experiment Area would be worth extensively investigating, but nope one room with blood on some walls and that creeps them out so they stop exploring. What the hell? The Marine and the woman who spent years doing horrific things as a vampire are scared by some smeared blood on a wall?

I really hope the next episode addresses the questions and concerns this one raised.
